Pilot Officer Earle Freeman WARREN DFM RCAF

Operational Sorties: ? Ops with 15 Squadron, and 10 Ops with 156 Squadron.
Date of Birth: Not Known (21 yrs old)

Awards: Distinguished Flying Medal 29/12/43 whilst with 15 Squadron.

Personal Details:
Son of J H D Warren and E M Warren and brother of D G Warren who served with 419 Squadron, of Regina, Canada.

His final mission was to bomb Railway installations at Maintes-La-Jolie. Crashed at La Fidelaire (Eure). (details from Chorley's Bomber Command Losses)

This crew had only been together for ten missions with 156 Squadron. They were a highly experienced and decorated crew, sharing 3 DFC's and 3 DFM's between them. There were four survivors from the crash who all evaded capture.
