This N.C.O. has carried out 40 operational sorties agianst heavily defended targets in Germany and enemy occupied territories, 29 of them being with this squadron on Path Finder Force duties.
Flight Sergeant Barnett is an excellent gunner, most efficient in his turret and invariably bright and cheerful. His alertness and keenness have been a very great asset to his crew and his high standard of devotion to operational duties are a fine example to the rest of the squadron.
