Nothing was hear of this aircraft from the time of takeoff. T/o 2315 Alconbury. Crashed between two farms owned by the families Bodez and Demeulenaere and located near Vlissegem (West Vlaanderem), 12 km WNW of Brugge, Belgium. All are buried in Vlissegem Churchyard.

Note: This was the first operation loss suffered by 156 Squadron since its formation on 14 February 1942.
