Task abandoned. 
X3706  Wellington III  W/C HEATH  00:27          This aircraft failed to return and nothing was heard of it after take-off.

The crew included the Squadron Commander, Squadron Bombing Leader, and Squadron Gunnery Leader.

T/o 0027 Alconbury. Crashed at Dugny in the northern outskirts of Paris, and some 6km NW of Bobigny. The crew were initially buried at Dugny, but since the liberation, their remains have been taken to Viroflay New Communal Cemetery.
