Hopton DFC was Depuy Master Bomber and F/O Wiseman DFC Visual Backer Up. S/L Hopton and crew missing from this raid. The other target was Foret De Cerisey. F/LT Wood DFC flew with S/L Hopton as Visual Marker

S/L Hopton RCAF had flown at least 46 operational sorties. F/L Wood was flying as a second air bomber. From ORB: Nothing was heard of this aircraft after it answered th Master Bomber some minutes befor the Master Bomber dropped his bombs.  DSCF0177
