Flight Sergeant Bennett has now completed 49 operational sorties, 31 of which have been with Path Finder Force.
The majority of these sorties have been on German targets. This N.C.O. is a resourceful and efficient engineer and has carried out all the sorties with determination and zest.
He is reliable in any emergency and his keenness for operations is worthy of the highest praise. He has shown enthusiasm, loyalty and devotion to duty of a high order and I recommend him for the award of the Distinguished Flying Medal.
