Since the award of the Distinguished Flying Cross, Flying Officer Hodges has completed numerous sorties with the Pathfinder Force. These have included attacks on targets at Calais, Duisburg and Hamburg.

Flying Officer Hodges has completed four tours of duty during his operational career and has always shown keenness and devotion to duty of a very high order.
