ROBERTS, Reginald, A/F/L (128510, RAFVR*) - No.156 Squadron - Distinguished Flying Cross - awarded as per London Gazette dated 12 November 1943. Born 1913 at Weston-Super-Mare. Enlisted 1941. Trained in South Africa. Commissioned 1942. Citation in Air Ministry Bulletin 12011.

This officer has displayed outstanding skill as a navigator. During the raid on Peenemunde in August 1943, he navigated his aircraft with extreme accuracy and contributed greatly to the success of the attack. He has completed a large number of operational missions against enemy targets in Germany and Italy, proving himself to be a thoroughly efficient and determined navigator.
